ASH DISPOSAL:
For safety's sake: It is recomended to dispose of ash in a covered
steel can. For example, use a small galvenized garbage can.
Or, use two:
filling one and letting the other sit for a week
or so before spreading them in the yard.
We've seen glowing embers in the pail 3-4 days after going in the can.
This can should be stored outside and/or on a non-combustible surface.
